Report Progress and Seek Support: Before having my son I was really healthy and active......three years later I've only gone down hill more with every passing month...I hate feeling the way I do (tired, sluggish, irritated,depressed) I need to lose 70 lbs to be the happy healthy person I was before getting pregnant. I have always struggled with weight moderately but now it's out of control. I'm mostly depressed because I was doing so well for a couple of years and I find motherhood making it really difficult to continue on what I once created for myself.

Trust you mean intermittent fasting for 2 days per week. That would be fine. But 70 pounds is quite an aggressive goal. If your schedule permits, I would suggest your going on alternate day fasting for a couple of weeks. That way you'll see faster results at the beginning which will certainly motivate you to continue.
