Report Progress and Seek Support: I have been fasting for a little under a week now. I'd like to lose about 20 pounds and keep it off. A couple of years ago, I was at my ideal weight (110) and since then I haven't been able to get back to it. Granted, I don't exercise enough and I tend not to watch what I eat. But fasting will be my way of changing that for good.

Editor's Notes: Hi Michelle, Anna here. We look very similar, except that you are much younger. I was down from 110 to 90 by IF. But I'm only 5' tall, a little underweight, but healthy. I'm not sure if you could shed 20 pounds in 3 weeks by ADF. But if that doesn't happen, don't worry. You're on the way. Just allow a little more time, I'm sure you'll be there. By the way, if you are doing Alternate Day Fasting, have you read the book The QOD Diet: Eating Well Every Other Day? You may get more insights there.
