Well, there are weight loss tips which are as true as the sun rises from the east, such as burn more calories than you consume. Some are debatable, such as breakfast is a must, 6-10 small meals a day, drink 3 cups of green tea or 8 glasses of water a day. I don't see how a person can survive by drinking 8 glasses of water a day, 2 glasses of skim milk and 3 cups of green tea, not to mention the coffee, beer or fruit juice that he or she loves.

So let's forget about complicated or contradicting tips and focus on something simple and workable.

I would like to share with you a short list of quick weight loss tips that helped me shed 20 pounds. These are proven to be true, healthy and easy to stay with. However, no matter how good these tips are, your success all depend on how serious you are committed to weight loss. You don't read and get slim. Quick Weight Loss Tips #1 - Practice Fasting

Fasting is by far the quickest and result-guaranteed weight loss method. A one-week water fasting or juice fasting can reduce 7-10 pounds for any normal person. Depending on the number of pounds you want to shed, you may decide on the number of fasting days to begin with. Unless you are suffering from obesity, I won't recommend an initial fasting of beyond 7 days.

You can also choose to do short term periodic fasting, what we call intermittent fasting (IF), such as skipping two major meals in a week. IF is easy to practice however will produce quick and significant weight loss results that you'll be happy with.

In the long term, IF is also important in maintaining your ideal body weight.

What has sleeping 20 minutes less to do with weight loss? Practically none. But if you make use of these 20 minutes to do exercise, your weight loss and health benefits are going to be tremendous.

As soon as you wake up in the morning, workout for at least 20 minutes to an hour. Studies show that working out in the morning has been shown to burn up to 3 times as more fat as opposed to working out at any other time during the day. Food releases insulin which blunts fat burning. When you wake insulin is at its lowest allowing the most fat to be burnt.

I've come across a book The Truth About Abs in which Mike Geary describes this theory with scientific backup and with suggested workout routines. I would recommend everyone to take a look at it.

Undoubtedly, foods high in fat promote overweight and obesity. Try to avoid them; apply simple cooking methods such as steam, boil or bake. Sugar doesn't do as much dietary damage as fat, but you'll find that when you eat sweets, you simply want to eat more…of everything.

T2 Quick Weight Loss Tips #3 - High Fiber Meals…Drink Before Meals
Dietary fiber helps to curb your hunger, you'll feel full and eat less. So you are recommended to eat more fruits, vegetables and whole grain cereals which are high fiber in nature. Drinking a glass of fruit or vegetable juice before meals will serve a similar purpose. By suppressing your appetite, you'll naturally eat less and lose weight fast.
